Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across Europe and the Middle East helping organizations tackle their most complex HR and recruitment challenges. My experience with global firms like Deloitte and KPMG gave me a strong foundation in cross-border recruitment, talent mobility, and strategic workforce planning. I’ve led regional hiring campaigns, implemented data-driven hiring systems, and supported the development of high-performing, inclusive teams.

Now based in Athens, I work with clients navigating fast-changing labor markets and growing across borders. I’m the founder of Makki HR Consulting, based in Athens. I speak Arabic, English, and Greek, and I’m certified in Talent Acquisition and HR Strategy. When I’m not advising companies, I mentor refugees on professional integration—because great work starts with giving people a fair chance.

I’ve always believed that HR is not just a function—it’s a strategic force that shapes the future of every business. From my early days managing recruitment at Al Jazeera Engineering to leading regional talent strategies at Deloitte and KPMG, I’ve seen how the right people decisions drive real impact.
